Things to remember before leaving for the airport.
Passport, even if it’s a domestic trip
Checklist
Check flight is still on time. (no point in leaving the comfort of your home if your plane is a couple hours delayed.)
Passport and a B&W copy of your passport.
Cash truly IS king.
Credit Card, worse case scenario as long as you’ve got ID, credit card and a little cash you’ll be fine.
Contact credit card if traveling overseas
Put an address tag on your camera incase you misplace it. (There are still good people in this world and I’ve had a friend get her camera mailed back to her, which she had left at a park. It had 500 photos of her trip to Italy.)
Extra masks
Sunnies
Reusable water bottle
Snacks, (remember less and less food is being served onboard)
ALL luggage have tags with contact info
Time permitting I make a list of the items in my checked baggage. If it gets lost this will be extremely helpful for being reimbursed.
